About the “Running Dry” project.
“Running Dry” is a comprehensive public information/education project, established to raise awareness regarding the worsening global humanitarian water crisis. The projects centerpiece is an explosive and enlightening in-depth documentary. It was inspired by former U.S. Senator Paul Simon’s book TAPPED OUT, the coming world crisis in water and what we can do about it. The documentary was written, produced and directed by Jim Thebaut.
Actress Jane Seymour, the documentary narrator, and many other notable and knowledgeable individuals have come together to participate in the public information/education process. In addition, educators are also designing ways for the documentary to be utilized within academic curricula.
Currently, presentations of the documentary are taking place on an international basis in conjunction with in-depth discussions regarding the crisis for the purpose of educating policy makers, educators, students and the general public.
