Currently, there is a library of classic windsurfing short films and vignettes from the late 80’s and early 90’s from Masters’ own MC Stock Footage Library – and a series of short films shot in 16mm film from producer/director Greg Stump.  Also on-line are segments from O’Neill’s recent surfing release “Smash It Up”, featuring surfing antics from The Pipeline to Indonesia.

The Green Zone features short films from Leo DiCapprio, Robert Redford, Jim Thebaut, Rob Stewart and others.

“The site is still very much in it’s infancy” says Masters.  “We’ll be adding new topics, new filmmakers, new features, new products and new looks on an ongoing basis”.

The plan is to present the media on-line for free access by the general public, with project funding coming in the form of viewer support via ad clicks and PayPal contributions, advertising revenue and eventually, an on-line store offering obscure products from the world of special interest sports filmmaking.

Masters says that the project is “very much a labor of love.  Hopefully we’ll get the support needed to continue to develop the site into something rather special.  iTV with quality?  What a concept!”

StableRoad.com has also just announced their 2009 ad packages, giving advertisers an incredibly targeted viewer base from which to promote specific products or services.

“Gone are the days of shotgun advertising, where a company pays to broadcast to large numbers of people who aren’t even remotely interested in their products.  With on-demand media of this sort, we can create iTV ad and banner packages for not only, let’s say, a windsurfing company – but can also address specific needs such as promoting specific products to racers or wave sailors.

The ramifications of this type of media delivery is going to be revolutionary for the future of advertising.”
